Carronade 3D Model

Carronade of a type similar to those found on HMS ....
Configuration #: 2
Configuration Name: Untextured
Description: Carronade of a type similar to those found on HMS Victory. Carronades take their name from the iron foundry in Carron, Scotland, where they were first manufactured. They differ from standard naval cannon of the time in that they were designed to fire a larger, low velocity shot at close range, causing massive splintering. To this end they incorporate a pivot device for more precise close-range aiming. They later also incorporated true gunsights.
